The GTR is not a giant monster lizard hell bent on destroying Tokyo. While the Gojira movies were made in Japan, by the Japanese, Godzilla is not Japanese. He comes from the Pacific Ocean and is an analogy about the American nuclear and fire bombs dropped during WWII. So, if any thing, the GTR would be Mechagodzilla.
